Nearly 25 years ago, Doak volunteered for a 10-month term of service with AmeriCorps National Civilian Community Corps. The experience would prove “life changing” for Doak. Of particular interest were projects that addressed our natural resources. Assignments such as tree planting, trail building, and invasive species management sparked what would ultimately lead to a career in urban forestry and arboriculture.

During his 17 years with Davey, Doak has served in multiple capacities, including urban forester, arborist, operations manager, and most recently, business developer & client partnership manager. In his current position, Doak creates custom solutions for Davey business partners by leveraging the company’s full range of technical expertise and service capabilities.



Doak is an ISA Board Certified Master Arborist, Municipal Specialist, and Tree Risk Assessment Qualified Arborist. He has a B.S. in Urban Forestry from The Pennsylvania State University and resides in Massachusetts with his wife Katya and daughter Anna Sophia.
