After learning about the fascinating life her grandparents led, Mandy realized that every name in a cemetery has a story – beyond an individual’s date of birth and date of death, there is the dash in-between with an entire story to tell. Since 2013, Mandy has been working with families and death care professionals to develop Keeper – a collaborative online memorial platform – where friends and family can fill in the dash with stories, tributes, photos, videos, milestones and more to remember and celebrate those who are dearly missed.

Mandy notably works with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs on the Veterans Legacy Memorial project, memorializing nearly 5 million American Veterans.

Her passion for death-care extends to public education around death and dying as the Editor of TalkDeath.com, and host of the #TalkDeath web series where she interviews death professionals.
