Nicki Price Adams is a history buff. This is partly a result of all the visits to cemeteries while on family vacations, an experience many who have grown up around funeral service can probably corroborate. In her work for Roosevelt Investments, Nicki incorporates her enthusiasm for funeral service, history, and financial services. “We started managing assets for Youngs Memorial Cemetery – where Teddy Roosevelt is buried – 50 years ago,” shared Nicki. “Our commitment to funeral service has only grown since then.”

“A substantial number of funeral service business owners plan to retire within 5 to 7 years. Yet, according to NFDA’s 2020 Planning Survey, 73% don't have an exit strategy in place,” Nicki said. “For many, their business will be a major part of their net worth in retirement, which is why it is so important to have a plan.”
