Ric Cusumano is the Director of Operations at ASD – Answering Service for Directors, a title he has held for over 35 years. Ric oversees ASD’s Call Center Operations, exhibiting outstanding leadership that has been instrumental in helping ASD become the company it is today. His management of the daily challenges with ASD’s staff, system and processes allow the company to provide the highest level of call support to the funeral professionals it serves.



Since he first joined ASD in 1984, Ric has shepherded the company through many transitions and expansions. When call forwarding made it possible to exclusively serve funeral homes nationwide, Ric was essential to helping ASD make that crucial shift. From getting staff adjusted to a multitude of changes brought on by mobile technology to helping the company shift to a work-from-home model caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, Ric has been an absolutely vital ingredient to ASD’s success.
