But Welton believed his tech expertise could be put to even better use, helping small businesses get more calls, generate more revenue, and dominate their local market.



Not long after Welton founded Ring Ring Marketing, he realized the funeral profession needed his help most of all. In the early days, some longtime death-care professionals were skeptical of whether digital marketing fit with an industry as traditional as funeral service. Welton proved that it fit exceptionally. For years, he’s educated the industry through his books, magazine articles, webinars, presentations, podcasts, blog posts and videos. Today, Welton and his RRM team of more than 80 full-time marketing professionals have helped hundreds of funeral homes succeed, with much more on the horizon.
